2012 promises to be the best year ever for St Chad’s Music Festival and so come and enjoy outstanding music in the majestic setting of St Chad’s. The Festival’s appearance on last year’s BBC Midland’s Today has put it firmly in the county’s calendar with something for all musical tastes and ages.

For the first time local schools have been invited to perform a concert on the opening evening so please do come and support these young musicians. The English Symphony Orchestra will be performing Mozart’s Requiem with St Chad’s Festival Chorus which promises to be a spectacular and memorable evening. There will be fun folk music from Festival favourite, the Boscastle Busker and for a more classical evening you can enjoy the beautiful combination of the Darwin Voices and String Orchestra perform some exquisite pieces. The organ has just completed its refurbishment and so hear it in all its glory at the special organ recitals. There is so much more so look at the Festival programme for full details of each event.
